坐落于充满活力的多元文化街区三角形场地内，这座公共图书馆为全美最大的图书馆系统中最大的分馆。
建筑以新型城市民宅为原型，选材多为城市建筑常用材料。
住宅区方向的建筑立面多用石材，不透明的设计形式暗示了藏馆的私密性。
图书馆顶层多为外国语书籍资料，并建有相关策展空间。
建筑的设计形式直接响应了周边城市环境：在表述缅街与科内萨大道差异的同时，一展法拉盛南部建筑的优质风貌。
