Together with East Harlem Tutorial Program (EHTP), we celebrate the topping off of EHTP’s Scholars Academy High School on 104th Street in New York. The new 70,000 sq ft high school will include art and music classrooms, science labs, a Black Box Auditorium, a cafeteria with an outdoor terrace, and a Basketball and Volleyball league-regulation-sized Gymnasium, and will support a flexible, enhanced academic schedule. EHTP serves as a community hub, and the design of the school supports that vision by creating transparency; opening up to the neighborhood, and providing a collegiate feel for high school students looking to their future academic years.
The new high school is currently slated to open in 2024.
