Ennead Associate Principals Lois Mate and Emily Kirkland present "Inclusive Laboratories: Design and Infrastructure in Support of Research and People" as part of LabDesign's Facilities & Infrastructure webinar series. Through a series of short case studies ranging from leading academic research labs to teaching labs and private labs, they will examine design considerations that create welcoming facilities that emphasize inclusivity, promote wellness, and help all users perform at their best, and will discuss the engagement process to reach those results.

As Emily Kirkland explains, Inclusivity powers innovation and makes for healthier research communities with better recruitment and retention. Conscious choices made in laboratory designs have an impact. We’re looking forward to sharing what we’ve learned about creating research and teaching environments where all people can feel supported in their pursuits.”
