Ennead is excited to share that the new U.S. Consulate General Nogales, Mexico, has been recognized by the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Washington, D.C. chapter with a 2025 Design Award in Architecture.
Inspired by the local architectural precedent of ramadas (quickly assembled shade structures created by stacking ocotillo cacti branches overhead) a large-scale roof canopy shades the new Consulate and creates a welcoming civic presence for the community.
