曼哈顿剧院俱乐部塞缪尔•J•弗里德曼剧院
坐落于纽约市独具盛名的百老汇剧院区，塞缪尔·J·弗里德曼剧院于1925年开业，并由于种种原因关闭了近13年。
In 1999, Barry Grove, Executive Producer of the Manhattan Theatre Club, contacted me to help them find a Tony-eligible Broadway venue. Standing outside at the intermission of The Iceman Cometh, I looked across 47th Street and saw the shuttered Biltmore Theater. I knew instantly it was perfect for MTC.
整个翻修设计旨在响应曼哈顿剧院俱乐部就私密空间下开创一处崭新的、实验性剧场的项目初衷。
该设计项目通过后壁前移的模式，减少了原本观众区使用率低的占地面积，从而解决了包厢廊台过深而导致的席位缺空的现象。
整个剧院也由原本的1,000席改建为俱乐部要求的600席。
这一规划理念亦为访客服务的相关设施提供了更多的建筑空间，其中包括新建的访客休息室、洗手间和相对宽敞的上、下层大堂。
精心修复后的历史性建筑饰面，结合当今美国国内最先进的舞台表演辅助技术，使得弗里德曼剧场再次登顶为当今美国举足轻重的实景演出剧院之一。
