The premiere of the new television series America ByDesign: Architecture, which celebrates architectural innovations across the country, airs on CBS starting November 12 and includes a spotlight on Ennead’s work.
Episode one features a look at several of Ennead’s natural history museums with Ennead Partner Thomas Wong as a guide. He talks about the firm’s foundational ethos and belief in the value of civic space, and how those ideas inform the bespoke designs for the Shanghai Astronomy Museum, the Rose Center for Earth and Space at the American Museum of Natural History, and the Natural History Museum of Utah. Each of these buildings functions as a teaching tool to inspire curiosity for learning and discovery.
