The Boston Globe recently published an article on Cambridge Crossing. The article comments on the district's urbanity, richness, and surprise, achieved by the partner architects. Ennead's contribution is a multi-tenant office structure on the south side of The Common known as Parcel U.
"The northeast and northwest elevations employ a transparent curtain wall and oriented facets and fins to embrace the park. These two façades are visually articulated as smaller masses through vertical breaks, shifting faces, and material transitions. The terraced setbacks, projecting terracotta fins, and varied façade angles create shifting and varied roof lines."
