Bio

Stephen Chu is a Design Principal at Ennead Architects. His approach to design is a holistic process starting from a deep understanding of the client goals, mission, and aspirations. His award-winning design work covers a broad range of typologies including educational, cultural, and civic institutions. Stephen received a Bachelor of Architecture degree from University of California at Berkeley College of Environmental Design and spent a year at the Urban Design program at the Istituto Universitario di Architettura di Venezia. Architectural Education plays an important role in his commitment to the profession. Stephen is an Associate Professor at Pratt’s Graduate School of Architecture and has served as a studio critic, juror and lecturer at numerous colleges of architecture. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects.
